Carrollton Hall is located on the grounds of the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City. The grounds, which include Little Portion Farm, walking trails and several garden areas, are open daily from dawn to dusk.
Our Neighbors
The Shrine of St. Anthony offers Daily Mass, Adoration, Confession, workshops, seminars, and tours. A grotto to Our Lady of Lourdes, an outdoor shrine to St. Maximilian Kolbe, a St. Anthony Garden of Eternity, and walking trails surround the Shrine, and are also open free and daily, dawn to dusk.
Little Portion Farm, a ministry of the Franciscan Friars Conventual, provides tens of thousands of pounds of fresh food annually to those in need while using sustainable farming methods that restore the health of our land after centuries of mass agricultural production via enslaved labor and industrial farming techniques. The three-acre farm is an “agro-ecosystem” consisting of a diversity of plants and habitats to support the life of this “little portion” of creation. Volunteers of any skill level are welcome.
